TopPlace4U (“we”, “our”, “the app”) helps you rank places you visit and share rankings with friends you follow.

Information we collect

• Account: email address (required for sign-in), optional phone number, display name, profile photo.
• Location: approximate location when you allow it, to sort nearby places. We do not track location in the background.
• Your content: place rankings, want-to-try lists, city preference, and follow relationships.
• Device: standard app diagnostics (crash logs, performance) via Apple and our backend provider.

How we use information

• Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• Store and display your rankings and activity to friends you follow.
• Show places, search, and leaderboards in your selected city.
• Send sign-in codes by email when you request them.

Sharing

Your ranked stack is visible only to users who follow you. We do not sell personal data. We use service providers (Supabase for database/auth, Resend for email, Google Places for place data) to operate the app.

Retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. To delete your account and data, email dr.aeyd8@icloud.com.

Children

TopPlace4U is not directed at children under 13.
